As Vice-President of Mobility Strategies for IDC’s IT Executive Programs (IEP), Mike Jennett helps organizations leverage mobility to create effective business and technology strategies. He brings 20 years of business and technology experience with both Fortune 50 companies and dynamic startups to support clients through research, consulting, training, and speaking engagements.
In his previous position with Hewlett-Packard, Mike led HP’s enterprise mobility transformation. He was responsible for all aspects of the development, deployment, and integration of HP IT’s mobile applications and infrastructure on a worldwide basis, including evangelizing HP developments and products and shaping the overall go-to-market strategy as part of the cross business leadership team. Prior to his focus on HP’s mobility transformation, Mike led strategy for HP IT and managed integration for many of HP’s mergers and acquisitions. His thirteen-year tenure at HP included leadership roles in mobility, web and enterprise applications, and emerging technologies.
Prior to joining HP, Mike served as COO of Spotlight Studios, an award-winning Internet development firm to venture–funded startups and Fortune 500 companies. Mike graduated from California Polytechnic University, Pomona, CA with a bachelor’s degree in English literature. He has authored two books on Web technologies.
