About Mike

Mike Jennett utilizes over 20 years of business and technology experience to guide senior executives in achieving sustainable business outcomes. His research explores strategies that empower technology leaders seeking to invent, integrate, and support digital technology initiatives. As Vice-President of IDC’s IT Executive Program’s Enterprise Mobility strategies practice, he also focuses on enterprise mobility and emerging IoT technologies to create effective business and technology strategies.

Previously, Mike led Hewlett Packard’s enterprise mobility transformation. He was responsible for all aspects of the development, deployment and integration of HP IT’s mobile applications and infrastructure on a worldwide basis, evangelizing HP developments and products and shaping the company’s overall go-to-market strategy as part of HP’s cross-business leadership team. Prior to his focus on HP’s mobility transformation, Mike led strategy for HP IT and managed integration for many of HP’s mergers and acquisitions. His thirteen-year tenure at HP included leadership roles in mobility, web and enterprise applications, and emerging technologies. Before joining HP, Mike served as COO of Spotlight Studios, an award-winning Internet development firm serving venture-funded startups and Fortune 500 companies. Mike graduated from California Polytechnic University, Pomona, CA with a bachelor’s degree in English literature. He has authored two books on Web technologies.
